The South Africa-Nigeria Business Chamber offers a comprehensive visa and permit service including:

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Both the Pretoria and Johannesburg diplomatic missions require BIOMETRICS to be done for visa applications. OIS in Johannesburg, which works with the Nigerian Consulate, is based at 6 Bolton Road/corner Newport in Parkwood and in Pretoria for visas to be managed by the High Commission at 3^rd Floor, Building 2, Brooklyn Bridge Office Park.

The SA-NBC, as part of its visa service for applicants, will set up the appointments for you in addition to vetting the visa application and submitting it. However, please note that currently we are only dealing with OIS and the Consulate in Johannesburg.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE FORM AND PAYMENT

• Complete online application form for Nigeria Immigration Service found at this link: https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/freshVisa
  Note that you will need a Google, Yahoo or Open ID account to access the form
• Please note that no handwritten forms will be accepted by the Nigerian Authorities
• Please be sure before completing that you know which Nigerian diplomatic office will be handling your visa – Johannesburg or Pretoria – and choose the appropriate office on the form. They operate as two separate offices.
• Note down the Application ID and Reference Number before you move to the payment site – they will enable you to go back into the payment site later if needed.
• Move to the payment site and follow the prompts. Once payment is accepted, print out the page confirming payment. This is important. The visa application will not be accepted without it.
• This page will have a green band across the top and “Nigeria Immigration Service” at the top. It will NOT be an email confirming payment which you may also receive from the company running the site.
