The South Africa-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce offers, as one of its benefits, regular networking events for its members where they can meet and share experiences about doing business in both countries. On an ad hoc basis, non-members are included in these events, which are also a way for the Chamber to raise awareness about itself and about the Nigerian business and investment climate. The events focus mostly on corporate views and engagement but also include diplomats, ministers and government officials and agencies from time to time.

The SA-Nigeria Business Chamber has suspended its events schedule for 2020 for the next few weeks in light of current events and will be updating this, circumstances permitting, by the end of April. We have a rich suite of engagements and lined up and look forward to re-engaging with the community as soon as possible.

The SA-NBC hosted the very successful half-day Nigeria Business Forum in Durban on 5 March. The event was co-sponsored by Intertek and supported by law firm Shepstone & Wiley. In addition to our sponsors, the rich line up included the Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa, Hon Kabiru Bala and speakers from Trade Invest Africa, Standard Bank, Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal and the SA-NBC. Content focused on trade and investment, the business climate, cultural issues and insights into exporting from SA to Nigeria.
